Inspiration
Double Sunrise is a world inspired by warm holidays, silky fabrics and a search for those pieces that make you feel like your best self. It starts with an image in our mind then is explored and developed through endless sketches and samples until that image has come to life. We are inspired by the women that bring these pieces to life and who wear them with confidence and imagination.
Fabric
Silk, linen and cotton blends are amongst our picks when we create our pieces. Each has its own unique properties into being a more sustainable choice on the planet.
Fabric choice is one of the most important elements that go into designing each piece. We endlessly search for ways to make our ideas come to life while also taking care of our planet.
Production
When it comes to getting our pieces made we chose to work with a local production facility in Vancouver, Canada. Having local production has allowed for us to build genuine relationships with the people that are making our products come to life. Not only does this allow the people who are making our products to be able to make a living wage we also support another small business in our local economy.
We only release a limited amount of pieces for each style. Our hope is to have as minimal waste as possible. Our goal is to avoid having left over inventory each year. For our customer it also means you’re pieces will feel more unique and special, whether it’s a limited release of a certain colour, fabric or print.
